TERMS & CONDITIONS
TOURS
All tours are based on English Speaking Guide. Additional charges will apply for foreign speaking guides and availability is subject to confirmation. Activities like scuba diving, white water rafting & mountain climbing will require the participant to sign a liability waiver form before tour commences.
TOUR LEADER AND CHILD FARE
For group of more than 15 persons, one (1) tour leader will be accorded FOC for all basic land arrangements. Complimentary accommodation will have to be negotiated with the respective hotel. For child under 12 years, a discount will be provided as specified in the tariff
RESERVATION & DEPOSIT
Unless previously arranged, all reservations will only be considered definite upon receipt of a 25% deposit of the total cost of all arrangements. Balance payment must be settled at least 21 days prior to arrival. During peak season, full payment will be required upon confirmation and strict cancellation charges will apply.
CANCELLATION
In general, cancellation of tour & hotel reservations will incur a charge and these cancellation charges vary accordingly which we will advise upon confirmation and in our proposals. Generally, the cancellation charges are as follow :-
FIT Hotel Booking
Less than 3 days before arrival - 1 night charge will apply
Less than 24 hours or no show - 100 % charge will apply. |
During peak period, the following will apply :-
Less than 30 days before arrival - 1 night charge will apply
Less than 2 weeks before arrival - 100 % charge will apply. |
FIT Tour Package Booking
Less than 2 weeks before arrival - 25 % of the total cost of the tour
Less than 1 week before arrival - 50 % of the total cost of the tour
Less than 24 hrs or no show - 100 % of the total cost of the tour |
Group Hotel & Tour Booking
Less than 3 weeks before arrival - 25 % of the total cost of the tour
Less than 2 week before arrival - 50 % of the total cost of the tour
Less than 72 hrs or no show - 100 % of the total cost of the tour |
PAYMENT
Payment for all services must be effected by bank draft or readily negotiable instrument of exchange agreed upon, such as a Tour Service Order. Failure to comply with this condition may result in cancellation of all arrangements for services without notice.
Payment can be telegraphic transfer or bank draft to in US Dollars based on the exchange rate in the quotation :-

a) All bank charges through payment made by Bank Draft / Telegraphic transfer will be strictly borne by payer.
b) Peterson Travel Service reserves the right to adjust the US Dollar exchange rate based on the local bank rate if necessary to reflect the correct amount to be paid.
Credit card payment in Ringgit Malaysia :- AMEX/mastercard/VISA is accepted with a 2.5 % (VISA/Mastercard) & 5.0 % (AMEX) merchant fee respectively.
LIABILITY
PETERSON TRAVEL SERVICE SDN BHD acts only as agents for transportation companies, hotels, restaurants and all other contractors. We cannot be held liable for any injury, damage or loss to person or property, additional expense, accidental delays or any other irregularity which may be caused either through wilful or negligent acts of omission on the part of the companies or individuals providing or engaged in transportation on land, sea or air, accommodation or other services relating to the execution of the tour or through natural calamities or Government restrictions, strikes or other factors beyond our control.
PETERSON TRAVEL SERVICE SDN BHD reserves the right to alter or amend any arrangements contained in the itineraries when deemed necessary and in the interest of the clients.
